VIRGIN COCONUT OIL i) Our Virgin Coconut Oil is ORGANIC ii) Extracted from mature, farm fresh coconuts through wet milling(Coconut Milk) iii) Process under low temperature  iv) Retains Vitamin E content, which is key for immunity, heart health and  nourishment of skin. v) Coconuts are sourced from Fair Trade Alliance Kerala as per Fair Trade Norms vi) PACKED IN GLASS BOTTLES TO AVOID THE PRESENCE OF PHATHALATES - HARMFUL CHEMICALS PRESENT IN PLASTIC BOTTLES.   vii) We offer same quality oil to domestic consumers as we export. viii) OUR VIRGIN COCONUT OIL IS   certified organic under the PGS (Participatory Guarantee Systems). Please see label.   Distinction between coconut oil and virgin coconut oil - the former is extracted from Copra and later from coconut milk. Why our Coconut Oil costly?  (a) Substantially higher than market price paid to farmers for procuring coconut under Organic and Fair Trade norms. (b) Better wages, working conditions and labour welfare measures and entitlements to our workers in the production units  (c)  Extract oil from selected copra, discard burned and fungus infested  (d) Copra is pressed only twice in order to avoid over heating  (e) Higher accent (with costs) on hygiene and related aspects. We use glass bottle - glass bottle cost is Rs.24.00 whereas plastic bottle costs only Rs.4.00.
